24,000+ SQFT Poultry Facility – Beausejour, Manitoba

Bluetec Construction completed the structural assembly of a 24,000+ sq. ft. cold-formed steel poultry facility in Beausejour, Manitoba, utilizing a pre-engineered building system supplied by SBS Building Solutions. Scope of work included full steel erection, installation of cold-rolled steel columns and framing members, and complete liner panel installation.

The structure consists of a cold-formed steel system designed for agricultural applications, offering high strength-to-weight efficiency and corrosion resistance. Interior liner panels were installed to provide a cleanable, durable interior surface suitable for controlled livestock environments. The building layout and structural system were configured to accommodate ventilation, operational flow, and long-span interior requirements typical of poultry production facilities.

Execution focused on precise assembly tolerances, efficient sequencing, and coordination to ensure structural integrity and long-term performance under agricultural operating conditions.

94’ x 121’ Steel Shop & Office – Winkler, Manitoba

Bluetec Construction completed the full design-build execution of this 94’ x 121’ x 27’ pre-engineered steel shop and office facility in Winkler, Manitoba, including site preparation, deep foundation installation, concrete works, and structural steel erection. The building is founded on 24” diameter driven piles extending approximately 60 feet to suitable bearing strata, supporting a reinforced 6” concrete slab-on-grade designed for heavy-duty use. The building envelope was constructed with high-performance insulation systems, including R-38 insulated wall assemblies and an R-50 roof system to meet energy efficiency and climatic demands. The project also features a fully integrated office component with curtain wall glazing, architectural metal panel cladding, custom round window elements, and a fabricated center-beam staircase with integrated LED lighting. The project was executed with a focus on structural integrity, thermal performance, and coordinated construction sequencing to ensure long-term durability and operational efficiency.

75' x 250' Material Storage Facility

This nearly 19,000 sq. ft. structure is a manufacturer’s dream—purpose-built for high-volume material storage and strategically located adjacent to an active production facility.

Bluetec Construction served as the general contractor for this project, delivering start-to-finish services including a substantial foundation system. The build began with deep pile installation—some reaching up to 100'—tied into a high-efficiency ICF foundation.

Concrete work included a 5" slab throughout, as well as two fully functional loading bays designed for heavy traffic and durability.

Our team erected the full steel superstructure, including all columns, rafters, purlins, and girders, followed by full building insulation and exterior metal cladding.

We completed the structure with functional snow gutters, downspouts, and all finishing trim—ensuring both long-term performance and a clean, professional look.

60' x 100' Shop & Office Building

This 60' x 100' building showcases a thoughtful mix of smart design choices and quality finishes throughout.

As with every project, it began with thorough site preparation followed by concrete work. Both the shop and office areas feature fully heated concrete floors, with the shop including a sleek, integrated floor drain system from AmTech Steel.

The two-story office boasts large high-efficiency windows, a striking modern exterior, and a beautifully finished interior. Inside, you'll find four spacious private offices, two bathrooms, and a welcoming lobby designed to make a strong first impression.

The adjoining shop includes three 14' x 14' overhead doors, ample exterior lighting, and a concrete walkway that wraps around two sides of the building—combining function with curb appeal.

60' x 200' Commercial Warehouse

This commercial warehouse features a premium 60' x 200' steel structure supplied by AmTech Steel Structures, built to stand the test of time.

Extensive site preparation was completed prior to construction, including the placement of several hundred yards of fresh aggregate to ensure a solid foundation.

The structure is supported by 60' deep piles and a full ICF grade beam, providing unmatched strength and durability.

High-grade steel columns and rafters were erected alongside purlins, girders, and exterior metal cladding, forming a clean and efficient building envelope.

To align with budget goals, insulation was installed in the ceiling, with wall insulation planned for a later phase.

The result: a truly robust warehouse set in a beautiful, scenic location.

Winkler, MB – Custom Luxury Home
